Fostering light in darkness
At the Mission, we believe in providing quality mental health care. We recognize that our clients may be experiencing dark times and our goal is to foster the light that is within them.
A modern approach
Therapy sessions occur online through a secure portal which allows you to feel comfortable in your space when meeting with us. The Mission will expand to in-person sessions in the future but values the freedom and privacy that video therapy provides for our clients.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervisor designation and a Licensed Independent Clinical Dependency Counselor. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hawaii Pacific University, Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chaminade University. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate at Liberty University seeking a degree in Counselor Education and Supervision.
I have worked in many areas of the mental health field such as outpatient treatment centers, home health, and even within the walls of a prison treatment program. In 2017, I became the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor of an Opioid Treatment Program. While working in this position, I realized there was a significant lack of care and respect for individuals who struggle with addiction. Additionally, there is a lack of support and education for those who love these individuals. This fueled my passion to create a safe environment to provide education, support, and direction for those impacted by addiction.
Over the last two years, I have been working in outpatient therapy and have had the opportunity to work with some amazing clients! I have witnessed some wonderful changes and positive growth and I am so grateful that I have been gifted the opportunity to sit in with each and every one of my clients and help them navigate through tough waters and find peace.
In addition to outpatient therapy, I have a love for advocacy, mentoring, and teaching. I taught psychology courses for several years at South University and am currently pursuing a doctorate degree with the goal of teaching graduate courses in the future. My experience as a teacher allows me to take an educational approach at times in therapy sessions.
While I am originally from Virginia, I have enjoyed moving to Ohio. In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our children. My hobbies include hiking, watching college football, traveling, learning new things, and crafting.
